Our Classics has long since been established as an indispensable beginning to the Iceland Symphony Orchestra's season. As usual, we offer a varied programme that will delight hearts and minds on this late summer evening: Lively orchestral music and melancholic songs mixed with passionate arias, heroic songs and energetic piano playing.
Many of the evening's visiting artists at this concert will also appear later in the season. Daníel Bjarnason will hold the baton and lead the Iceland Symphony Orchestra for this entertaining concert, which will also be broadcast live on RÚV.
