Unnsteinn Manuel Stefánsson is a musician, actor, composer, and screenwriter. He is best known as a member of the band Retro Stefson since 2006, and has also released music under his own name, winning both the Edda Awards and the Icelandic Music Awards three times each. He has worked extensively in theatre as a composer, music director, sound designer, and playwright, and received the Grima Award for best sound design for the production Íslandsklukkan.

Unnsteinn Manuel Stefánsson has appeared with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra on numerous occasions, both as a presenter and as a singer.
