Ásta Dóra Finnsdóttir is one of the most promising talents to have emerged in recent years. She attracted attention at a very young age for her gifts at the piano and first appeared with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra in 2021, performing Shostakovich's Piano Concerto No. 2 at only 14 years old.

She is currently studying at the prestigious Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, becoming the first Icelandic piano student to be admitted to this renowned institution. In the 2026–27 season, Ásta Dóra will perform Edvard Grieg's Piano Concerto under the baton of Tabita Berglund.
