The future of musical life in Iceland rests on the shoulders of the young instrumentalists and vocalists who are growing to maturity today. It is always cause for eager anticipation when outstanding young performers take the stage as soloists with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra and reap the rewards of their tireless efforts. The concert hall fills with family members and friends who have followed these young music students through the years, and the audience's response is never more enthusiastic and sincere than at this marvellous concert in Eldborg hall. The soloists are selected following a competition held jointly by the Iceland Symphony and the Iceland University of the Arts in November 2021.
Cardholders of ISO student cards get a special price for the concert, 1.900 ISK.
