Lucie Horsch

Lucie Horsch is a Dutch recorder player and the youngest-ever recipient of the Dutch Music Award, the highest honour bestowed by the Dutch Ministry of Culture on a classical musician. She has performed as a soloist with orchestras including the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich, and Hong Kong Philharmonic, and appears regularly at Wigmore Hall, the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, and the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg. A passionate advocate for new repertoire, she has commissioned and premiered works by numerous composers. An exclusive Decca Classics artist, her albums have received the Edison Klassiek Award, the Opus Klassik prize, and other international honours.
In the 2026/27 season Lucie Horsch makes her debut with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra in two concerts with Barbara Hannigan, Chief Conductor and Artistic Director of the Iceland Symphony Orchestra.
