Víkingur named Gramophone’s Artist of the Year 2019
Víkingur Ólafsson won Artist of the Year at the 2019 Gramophone Classical Music Awards ceremony in London today. Víkingur is well established as one of Iceland's foremost musicians on the world stage and this award is a true testimony to that.
Iceland Symphony's next performance with Víkingur will be in Harpa Concert Hall on November 7th and 8th followed by a concert tour of Germany and Austria with conductor and composer Daníel Bjarnason.
