New season 2018/19
Next season, a host of outstanding artists will visit Iceland and perform with the Iceland Symphony at Harpa Concert Hall. Piano virtuosi Nikolai Lugansky performs Grieg's Piano Concerto and Nobuyuki Tsujii returns to Iceland performing Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto no. 2 before heading on tour with the orchestra in Japan in November 2019. Among the violinists joining the orchestra this year are Renaud Capuçon, Pekka Kuusisto and Isabelle Faust, all world-renowned artists with whom the ISO is proud to perform.
