Home Delivery Concerts Streamed from Harpa
The Iceland Symphony Orchestra delivers the music to your door steps with concert streaming from Harpa Concert Hall. The concerts will be streamed on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 17:00 GMT. Musicians from the orchestra take the stage and perform some wonderful chamber music for everyone to enjoy.
November 17th – Works for violin and cello by Martinů and Schulhoff
Performers: Duo Edda (Vera Panitch and Steiney Sigurðardóttir).
November 19th – Beethoven's Sonata for Horn and Piano
Performers: Stefán Jón Bernharðsson horn and Anna Guðný Guðmundsdóttir piano.
November 24th – Brahms' Clarinet Quintet
Performers: Rúnar Óskarsson clarinet and Siggi String Quartet (Una Sveinbjarnardóttir and Helga Þóra Björgvinsdóttir violin, Þórunn Ósk Marinósdóttir viola og Sigurður Bjarki Gunnarsson cello).
November 26th – Britten's Phantasy Quartet
Performers: Julia Hantschel oboe, Gunnhildur Daðadóttir violin, Þórunn Ósk Marinósdóttir viola and Guðný Jónasdóttir cello.
December 1st – Duo for Violin and Cello by Zoltán Kodály
Performers: Sigrún Eðvaldsdóttir violin and Bryndís Halla Gylfadóttir cello.
