About the concert
Heavy metal band Skálmöld and the Iceland Symphony Orchestra's concert in November 2013 was a huge success. Now they will join forces again in two concerts in August.

Heavy metal band Skálmöld and the Iceland Symphony Orchestra's concert in November 2013 was a huge success with all of the three concerts sold out, and received enthusiastic praise from critics. One reviewer even called the concert "The Metal-mass of the Century" and the recording of the concert reached platinum status.
Now Skálmöld and the ISO will join forces again in three concerts in August with new material never heard before, as well as songs that Skálmöld fans will know well.
The first two concerts sold out in only 12 minutes and a fourth date has been added on August 22nd. Tickets will go on sale here on en.sinfonia.is June 7th at 12:00 GMT.
