For this concert, the Icelandic pop legend Páll Óskar performs some of his favorite selections live with the orchestra.

Páll Óskar has been among Icelandic pop's most celebrated performers for decades, and his wide appeal spans all generations. He performed with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra in a legendary series of sold-out concerts in 2010 and 2011, and now returns to Harpa to perform with the orchestra once again.

Bjarni Frímann Bjarnason is Assistant Conductor of the Iceland Symphony Orchestra and has conducted many of its concerts in recent years to great acclaim. He was voted Performer of the Year at the 2019 Icelandic Music Awards.

Ticket sales for the concert
In accordance to local health regulations and to ensure the safety of our patrons, the Eldborg concert hall in Harpa has been divided into several areas, each with a specific maximum capacity, and thus ticket availability to these concerts is limited. To ensure space between guests, one empty seat will be reserved between each ticket order, but each order can consist of one single ticket or two side by side. We also offer seats that ensure a distance of 2 meters on all sides, but these tickets must be booked through the Harpa ticket office, tel. 528-5050.

Watch the Iceland Symphony Orchestra live from the orchestra's website, www.sinfonia.is, the orchestra's Facebook page, and on RÚV (Icelandic TV), Thursday May 28 at 8 PM.
