Tabita Berglund has established herself among the leading conductors of her generation and is acclaimed for her charismatic conducting style, which combines elegance, energy and precision. She takes up the position of Chief Conductor of the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra in August 2027, having served as Chief Conductor Designate from August 2026. She is also Principal Guest Conductor of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and the Dresden Philharmonic, appointments that followed her debut with each orchestra.

In the 2025–26 season, Berglund opened the Dresden Philharmonic's season and returned to open the Dresden Music Festival. During the season, she also made debuts with orchestras in Berlin, Cincinnati, St. Louis, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Sydney, and Melbourne, while returning to Dallas, Gothenburg, Bergen, Lahti, and Düsseldorf.

Tabita Berglund conducted a memorable concert with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra in May 2025 and was subsequently invited to collaborate with the orchestra again.
