Samuel Lee

Samuel Lee won the 2024 Malko Competition for Young Conductors. He had previously received first prizes at the BMI International Conducting Competition in Bucharest and the International Conducting Competition in Taipei. He served as Associate Conductor of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra until 2025. In the 2025–26 season, Lee made his debut with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra in a highly successful concert, which led to an immediate invitation to work with the orchestra again.

He has also appeared with orchestras including the Tonkünstler Orchestra, Aarhus Symphony Orchestra, Copenhagen Philharmonic, Malmö Symphony Orchestra, Turku Philharmonic, Kansas City Symphony and the Norwegian Radio Orchestra. He also conducted the Korean National Symphony Orchestra on a tour to Japan.
