Rolf Verbeek

Conductor

Rolf Verbeek is permanent guest conductor of Camerata RCO, formed by members of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, and artistic director of the Somer Chamber Orchestra. With Camerata RCO he has released recordings of Bruckner's Sixth Symphony in his own arrangement, and Sehnsucht with Barbara Hannigan, featuring songs by Alban Berg and Mahler's Fourth Symphony.

Through Hannigan's Equilibrium Young Artists programme, Verbeek worked as assistant conductor with major orchestras including the London Symphony Orchestra, Münchner Philharmoniker and Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France.
