Nathanaël Iselin

Conductor

French conductor Nathanaël Iselin has attracted considerable attention for his musical talents in recent years. He is currently Artistic Partner of the Kymi Sinfonietta in Finland and Associate Conductor of the Singapore Symphony Orchestra. He won First Prize at the International Jorma Panula Conducting Competition in 2021 and Second Prize at the German Conducting Award in 2023. He appears regularly with orchestras including the Finnish Radio Symphony, Norwegian Radio Orchestra, and Copenhagen Philharmonic, and makes debuts in 2026/27 with the Hong Kong Philharmonic and Danish National Symphony Orchestra.

Nathanaël Iselin first conducted the Iceland Symphony Orchestra in 2022 and served as Conductor in Residence with the orchestra in season 2023/24. He conducted the Iceland Symphony Youth Orchestra for the first time in 2025 and was immediately invited back to work with the orchestra the following year.
