Matthew Halls

Matthew Halls has been Chief Conductor of the Tampere Philharmonic in Finland since 2023. He appears regularly with orchestras including the Cleveland Orchestra, Wiener Symphoniker, Rotterdam Philharmonic, Dallas Symphony, and Toronto Symphony, and works extensively across North America and Europe. With a background in period performance, he is particularly sought after for his interpretations of Haydn, Mozart, and Beethoven.
Matthew Halls first conducted the Iceland Symphony Orchestra in 2009 and has been a regular guest ever since.
