Conductor

Giovanni Antonini is an Italian conductor and founding member of Il Giardino Armonico, which he has led as artistic director since 1989. He is Principal Guest Conductor of the Kammerorchester Basel and Mozarteum Orchester Salzburg, and appears regularly with the Berlin Philharmonic, Concertgebouworkest, and London Symphony Orchestra. He is also the artistic director of the Haydn2032 project, an ambitious initiative to record all Haydn symphonies on period instruments.
