Edward Gardner

Conductor

Edward Gardner is Principal Conductor of the London Philharmonic Orchestra and Music Director of the Norwegian National Opera and Ballet. He served as Chief Conductor of the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra from 2015 to 2024 and is now its Honorary Conductor. He is also widely regarded as a leading opera conductor, having worked at Covent Garden, the Metropolitan Opera, La Scala, and the Bayerische Staatsoper.
