Ben Palmer

Conductor

Ben Palmer is one of the world's leading specialists in conducting film-with-orchestra concerts, personally authorised by John Williams to conduct his scores in concert and acclaimed by Hans Zimmer as "a masterclass in conducting." He is Artistic Director of Covent Garden Sinfonia and Chief Conductor of Babylon Orchester Berlin, and appears regularly as a guest with orchestras including the London Symphony Orchestra, NDR Radiophilharmonie, Rotterdam Philharmonic, and all five BBC Orchestras. Trained as a composer and trumpeter at the University of Birmingham and the Royal Academy of Music, where he was elected an Associate (ARAM) in 2017.
