The Iceland Symphony presents its fourth Conducting Academy under the direction and guidance of chief conductor Eva Ollikainen. The Conducting Academy offers young and talented musicians the chance to try their hand at conducting and lead a full symphony orchestra under Eva's guiding hand.
The Academy is primarily intended for those who have completed at least an intermediate-level examination in their field of musical study. Selected students are then given the opportunity to conduct the ISO in a final lunchtime concert.
Guests are welcome to attend and watch these young conductors take their first steps on the podium.
Admission is free and all are welcome.
