Iceland Symphony Orchestra's latest release with Chandos, Icelandic Works for the Stage, has been nominated for Album of the Year in Classical Music at the Icelandic Music Awards 2024. 

 The application deadline is April 2nd, 2024.

Auditions will take place on May 30, 2024, at Harpa, Reykjavík.

A new Nordic Green Orchestra Guide has been published which aims to give orchestras tangible tools and inspiration to implement actions that will help them in the process of green transition. The guide is created by DEOO - the Association of Danish Ensembles, Orchestras and Opera Institutions, the Iceland Symphony Orchestra, Bæredygtigt Kulturliv NU, BARC Scandinavia and Danske Kulturbestyrelser.

British-Finnish conductor Ross Jamie Collins has been chosen as the next conductor-in-residence with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra for the 2023-24 season.
