Graduale Futuri
Skrímslið litla systir mín [My little sister, the monster], which won the Gríma theatrical award in 2012, is now heard for the first time in symphonic form. Eivør Pálsdóttir, Halldóra Geirharðsdóttir, and Graduale Futuri perform the play in words and music, in Tróndur Bogason's arrangement and with Björk Bjarkadóttir's graphics. This concert adventure tells the tale of Bjartur, who one day finds himself with a little “monster” of a sister. He travels to the end of the world in an attempt to take his sister back and recover his mother and father.
The tale of Goldilocks and the Three Bears is interpreted by the ISO with an enchanting marionette theatre without words – a sort of paper movie house – with the scenery and the characters cut out like paper dolls. The paper theatre, created by Helga Arnalds, is projected onto a screen, giving guests the opportunity to travel to an imaginary world while enjoying the music.
