This unique concert features a selection of music from the plays, dramatisations, and films based on adventure stories written by Astrid Lindgren. Music from Pippi Longstocking, The Brothers Lionheart, and Seacrow Island will be performed by the Iceland Symphony for the first time, in new arrangements by Jóhann G. Jóhannsson.
With actors Sigurður Þór and Þórunn Arna playing the various characters, the ISO and the Kársnes School Choir bring the world of Astrid Lindgren to Eldborg. Lively and cheerful, this concert programme makes sport of adults' views on childrearing and celebrates children's perspective on life.
